trias politika	Suatu doktrin yang dikemukakan oleh filosof dari Perancis pada abad 18, Montesquieu, yang menyatakan bahwa ketiga cabang pemerintahan (terdiri dari legislatif, eksekutif dan yudikatif) sebaiknya melaksanakan fungsi yang terpisah dan kedudukannya independen satu sama lain untuk melindungi hak-hak dan kemeredekaan tiap warga negara.
