hak cipta	Hak cipta pada dasarnya adalah hak untuk memperbanyak. Hukum hak cipta pada umumnya melarang semua pihak untuk memperbanyak atau mengumumkan suatu karya, kecuali pemegang hak cipta; pihak lain harus mendapat persetujuan dari pemegang hak cipta sebelum melakukan hal tersebut. Dalam konteks ini, istilah yang dipakai di Indonesia – ‘hak cipta’, yang secara harfiah berarti hak untuk menciptakan – tidak begitu tepat.	copyright	Copyright is, essentially, the right to copy. Copyright laws generally prohibit all but the copyright holder from reproducing or announcing the protected work; others must seek permission from the copyright holder before doing so. In this context, the widely-used Indonesian term for copyright – ‘hak cipta’, literally, ‘the right to create’ – is inaccurate.
